ECCLES BOROUGH BAND
We are honoured to have THE Eccles Borough Band performing throughout the day at the festival.
Here’s what they had to say ..
‘Eccles Borough Band is a brass band based in Eccles, and has been making music since 1886. The band is in the First Section in the North West regional competition, and participates regularly in national contests including the Whit Friday Marches. With a busy calendar of concerts and events, both around Salford and further afield, we are conducted by Mareika Gray. When not playing, the band enjoys spending time together - particularly if food is involved!’

MISS JOANNE DANCE SCHOOL
Miss Joanne Farnell School of Dancing will be performing dances from their upcoming show ‘Time to Dance’ which is at The New Adelphi Theatre July 8th and 9th.
The Dance School opened its doors in Monton over 23 years ago and is now based at Bridgewater Mill. A friendly, inclusive dance school offering classes to all levels and ages, in a variety of dance styles. Pupils work on performances and can also take accredited examinations.
Miss Joanne Farnell School of Dancing is bringing over 150 dancers on the day and we can’t wait to see them perform!

MAMA AND ME
Mama And Me offer a unique uplifting experience of babywearing dance and mindfulness. With classes across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, as well as their popular Monton Class which is held at Monton Methodist Church, Wednesdays, 1.30pm. Their high-vibe class focuses on parent well-being and joy. Empowering parents through dance, babywearing and shared experiences. A journey of connection, support, and community
They can’t wait to showcase their baby wearing dance moves with you all at the Summer Festival

Transcend Studios will be delivering taster sessions in sound healing, mindful movement, yoga and energy healing

CHELSEA ENTWISTLE ART
We are really excited that Chelsea.Entwistle.Art will be live painting the #montonsummerfest. We the empathy, nostalgia, and grit in her work. One to watch

I'm a self-taught artist, born and raised in Salford. I'm currently Artist In Residence at Salford Shopping Centre, where you can see more of my work.
I'm hoping to be able to live paint the event. I like the idea of showing people the process of how a painting comes to life.
I love capturing Salford and the people in everyday life. We have an amazing city with so many beautiful places to be proud of, Monton being one of them!
